Too many times the history of an artifact is lost, due to poor record keeping, or records being lost or destroyed. Many times we are left guessing where an artifact originated because there were no records that came with it. This site was created to help aid the collector in self documentation of their artifacts. This information is then stored on a common database that can be accessed by anyone who chooses. I believe as caretakers of these artifacts we have the responsibility to not only keep the artifact safe but to safeguard any information that comes with it. The process is simple and inexpensive.
